I am delayed in sending/ posting maps and course profile mainly because there is still too much snow on the mountain. However, Angel Fire sits at 8600′ above sea level, so the air will be thin. The trails and gravel road will give you wide open views of the surrounding mountains and forrest during the day, and the starlit skies at night.
The course will be rocky, but we are not trying to be the most ___________ ( you fill in the blank ) I would like to know that a really fast runner could complete the 100 mile course in under 20 hours, with most runners using 25-28 hours. The course will close in 32 hours. As of now, there aren’t water-crossings, and accommodations can be easily made at The Lodge at Angel Fire Resort. We are in the process of securing a bloc of Race Rate rooms, on the Start-Finish site. I’ll post the details for the code as soon as its final.
Stay tuned, and sign up early if you can,
